My Favorite Fall Essential Oil Diffuser Blends

Fall is a time of transition and change. In Ayurveda, the time tested medicine of India and the sister science to yoga, fall is vata season, where the air element is strongest. Fall is dry, windy, rough, erratic, cool, and clear. As the temperature drops, we want to incorporate more spices and grounding elements in our diet and lifestyle. We want to incorporate more feelings of stability, groundedness, routine and loving connection with ourselves and others. Here are few ways I love to use my oils (and a few of their many benefits) to balance out the energies of fall and keep me feeling zen, focused and connected to myself. 

Diffuser blends: 

Pumpkin pie 

4 drops cardamom

2 drops wild orange (the oils of abundance, it also really lifts your mood and is a strong antidote to depression and anxiety) 

1 drop cinnamon

1 drop clove

Fall leaves

6 drops wild orange

1 drop Patchouli 

1 drop Ginger

Take a walk 

4 Cypress

2 Siberian fir (relaxes the central nervous system) 

2 Sandalwood 

Relax by the fire 

3 Douglas fir

3 Frank 

2 Sandalwood 

2 Lavender 

4 Wild orange
