I have been devoted to a daily mindfulness practice since 2011. My journey started with grief and loss, which cracked my heart open enough for yoga to step in and change my life.
Over the years, my practice and teachings have shifted and evolved. Asana, the physical practice, is only the beginning and over time directs us in toward the mind. As my teacher Sri Dharma Mittra reminds us, “it is not you that requires Enlightenment, it is the mind.”
I am devoted to continuing to connect to this wholeness – and help others connect to theirs as well. The greatest lie we can ever be told is that we are not already whole. Our truest nature is already whole, complete and perfectly serene observing our lives.
When we forget this or do not know this, we suffer. Through my life’s work, I aim to help my students and clients find this innate freedom, this innate sanctity. There are many paths on this journey and no two are the same.
